A Letter To Delia Garcia of Wal-Mart

I am writing to you as a concerned Oro Valley citizen. There has been much controversy over the Oro Valley Marketplace and Wal Mart. The developer promised the citizens of Oro Valley a shopping experience that would be unique and well thought out. I do not feel that Wal Mart belongs in that mix.
As you are very aware, a new Wal Mart was recently opened on Oracle Road approximately 6 miles from the proposed store in Oro Valley. Delia, why would Wal Mart build another store so close to the existing store?
Perhaps the better question would be: Why would Wal-Mart choose a location where many oppose it?
My suggestion would be to find another site and ask for your donation back from the town.
I am one citizen that does not and never will support your organization in my neighborhood.
